DACUM Occupational Analysis

Golden Globe

Our staff has extensive experience in DACUM Occupational Analysis, which is a process that systematically analyzes any job. Over the last ten years, the Center and its staff have conducted occupational analyses in a wide range of fields. This internationally recognized process is based on three assumptions:

  1. Expert workers are the best source for task analysis;
  2. Any occupation can be effectively described in terms of duties, tasks, knowledge, skills, and traits; and
  3. All tasks imply knowledge and/or skills.

DACUM is a proven, simple process that results in the successful analysis of any job. The results, produced in a graphic format, can be used as the basis for program and training development of current or even future jobs.
