2012 Training Schedule Announced
The Facilitation Center is excited to announce our 2012 training schedule. We shook up our regular line-up of trainings and added new topics and a new session. We've even added some new supplemental materials, such as storboarding supplies for participants in the Advanced Facilitation Workshop, giving them the tools they need to immediately start facilitating.
The trainings build upon each other, increasing the depth and breadth of facilitation knowledge and skills. New topics include dealing with difficult participants, effectively incorporating graphics, action and communication plans, building consensus, addressing controversial topics and creative brainstorming. Our newest three-day session is devoted to strategic planning, where we go through the elements of a strategic plan and how to facilitate constructive conversations and activities that build these elements in a collaborative manner.
What remains the same is our training approach. The sessions will continue to be interactive, with plenty of opportunity for practicing newly learned facilitation techniques and skills.
