Congratulations and Heartfelt Thanks to Karen Russell
“I was truly blessed with finding a career that I enjoyed for so many years. I learned so much along the way from each of you and have made life-long friends that are scattered across the country.” - Karen Russell, Former Director, Facilitation Center at EKU
One significant change the Center faced in 2020 was the retirement of Karen Russell. Karen started facilitating meetings at EKU in 2000 and became the director of the Center in 2008. During that time, she became well known for being a creative and talented facilitator and trainer who “worked magic” during meetings. Under her leadership, the Center became well-respected and highly-sought-after by a variety of national and international organizations.
The impact she had aiding countless groups in reaching their outcomes, thinking more creatively, and tackling tough problems is immeasurable. And the impact she left on us as her colleagues and friends will be with us for a lifetime. Karen is a treasure, and we know you join us in congratulating her on her well-deserved retirement.
